Norway - Hordeland to Aurland

The Odda municipality is very mountainous and the small settlements are all located in valleys like this one. The township of Odda is the administrative centre and sits on the southern end of the Sørfjorden. The water churns down the river from the lake Sandvevatnet, through Odda and then into Sørfjorden. The town is very picturesque and worth a wander through. There are many hikes up into the mountains from here most notably to the Trolltunga. It is 11 hours return and the weather is not the best at the moment so we leave that for another time.
